Welcome to YBS
From Monday 9th July 2018 (when your N&P savings account changed to a YBS savings account), you have been able to register for online services with YBS.
There'll be no delay getting access to your account online - you'll be able to register, view your account and transact if you wish, all on the same day.
Before you register
Please check your contact details are up to date.
This is important as during the registration process, you'll need to complete an automated phone call therefore we need to make sure we have an up-to-date phone number for you.
You can check your details by visiting your local branch, or calling us on 0345 1200 100*.
Online account registration
It only take minutes to register and once you have access, you can manage your accounts online and take advantage of some of our online services (this depends on the type of account you hold):
- View your statements and search transactions
- Deposit money to your account with a debit card
- Set up transfers out of your savings accounts
- Update your personal details
- Send us a secure message
- Choose to receive your future AGM (Annual General Meeting) information online
Your YBS account number
Your YBS account number would have been sent to you in June 2018.
You will need this to register for YBS online services.
What if I was already online with N&P?
Your N&P login details will not work on the YBS website. You will therefore need to register for YBS online services, even if you previously used online services with N&P.
What if I’m already online with YBS?
If you have already registered to view/manage your existing YBS account(s) online you don’t need to register again. Your former N&P account(s) will appear alongside your existing YBS ones.
Did you know?
Once you register for online access to your accounts, you'll also be able to use the same password for any telephone transactions (subject to the terms of your account).
When you call us, you'll be asked for three characters from your online account password - just so we can verify your identity.
What will I need to register?
You'll need;
- your new YBS account number
- some personal details
- access to a phone number that you have provided to us
Please note:
You need to be aged 16 or over to register to view and manage your account online.
By registering for online services you are agreeing to no longer receive a printed statement for any of your savings accounts. You can request a printed statement in future, should you need one, by calling us.
Remember
You need to make sure (before you register) that we hold up-to-date contact details for you.
You'll need to register for YBS online services, even if you previously had login details for the N&P site.

Additional security
To protect you and your money, some transactions you carry out online will use our Multi-factor authentication. When paying in to your account with a debit card, we have adopted Verified by Visa and MasterCard Securecode for additional protection depositing funds.
